Well its day 6 and we are all dusty and our bones are jolting. Today 30/7 we travelled from Coober Pedy into the Painted Desert which was really spectacular. Amazing country. Road was really rocky. We hit a sandy bit doing 65kms with a large hole and the camper launched onto one wheel. scary. Anyway here are some pics from William Creek into Coober. Coward Spings was fabulous a spring in the middle of no where that you can bath in. The water as like mineral water. Temp outside is 20 degrees every day and lots of blue sky. We are off to Uluru tomorrow 550km of sealed road that will be a welcome from the corregations.Yes the spelling is bad but night is the only time I get to update this so enjoy.

More pics for you all

The 1st 4 days

Well sitting out here in Coober Pedy a kinda weired place where 80% of the 4000 pop live underground to escape the heat. We are now getting into a routine with setting up camp and packing up. All about systems and managing our tempers. Kids just love it out here running a muck. Mildura was the 1st stop followed by this small town in SA called Carrington. Was 3 degees in the morning really hard to move. Then we moved onto Maree, one of my fav places. The next morning Billy and I jogged for half an hour up the Birdsville track. Following Maree we travelled to William Creek which is a qaint spot. Not much there apart from a Pub with underwear and business cards and wot not all over the walls. On the way to William Creek billy shattered his rear window which was a shame. Tomorrow we are off to Painted Desert and Marla and By Friday will be in Ulluru ( hope thats the spelling ) anyway here are some pics of the adventures to date.

Preparation

Eek 2 weeks. We are working on the final stages of preparation. Checking things work, loading tyres, changing tyres, just making sure everything works and trying to figure the best way to pack things. Here are some pics of progress to date.
